A Vigil service of the Order was held on Friday the 26th November 2004, at the Edgar Faber Memorial Chapel in Herd Road, Mount Roskill.
The Annual ceremony of the Order commenced sharp at 10:30 a.m. the following morning.
The Order's Chaplain the Reverend James M. Withers ChpLJ officiated at both the Vigil service and the Investiture ceremony which was convened by HE Grand Prior, Dame Gweneth Halford-Bell RRC, GCLJ, GCMLJ, BMLJ, pp.
Major the Chevalier Roderick Biel ED, KLJ, MA Commander of the Auckland Commandery welcomed all who attended.
The Epistle reading (Ephesians Chapter 6, Verses 10 - 18 was delivered by Confrere David Weatherley OLJ, CStS and the Gospel was read by Dame Yvonne Copland JP, DLJ.

Marina Scott BMLJ sang a solo "Ave Maria" and as well she and her daughter sang a very beautiful duet which was enjoyed by all members of the Commandery.
Upon completion of the Investiture, photographs were taken and then all members of the Commandery and guests retired to historic Ferndale House where a luncheon was held.
